About Table Fifteen Bistro and Bar
Welcome to Table 15!
Being the wino-on-site, it's tempting for me to talk only about the wine list and the variety of wines we offer. But to write only of the wine experience is to short-change the place. The variety of well-executed martinis and the casual but elegant menu, are both important parts of the Table 15 experience. Still, as the resident wino, I can't help myself. This is a place for people who love wine in all its incarnations.
With over 70 wines available by the glass or taste, Table 15 offers a unique opportunity to expand your grapesphere. Not only do we offer a series of themed tastings (like Anything but Chardonnay, Get Out of the Red Rut, A Caymus Sampler, among others), but also we offer you the opportunity to put together your own flights of wine think of it as a self-designed curriculum.
Our goal is to offer you the opportunity try lots of wines from off the beaten path or to try luxury wines in affordable portions so that you can explore the vast world of wine without breaking the bank. Sure we might not offer some of the popular wines that command huge market share, but then, those wines are already familiar. We want to share wines that usually don't show up in glossy magazines after all, one of the best parts of the wine experience is finding the unknown treasure, the new best-buy.
Even though our menu is decidedly casual, our Appetizers, Brick Oven Sandwiches and Pizzas are elegant expressions of the kind of food you might easily enjoy at home. Of course, we dress them up nicely, but it's not that hard to imagine a dinner at home that might include chicken pesto, roast beef, asparagus, or even a good pizza. At Table 15, not only can you enjoy the food, but also you can try a variety of wines that will match it. So it's not just a good time and a good meal. It's a little research and development project for your own table. Thus, the next time you have friends for dinner, you might serve the beef with a little Gorgonzola sauce and a unique wine from Portugal, or serve an easily elegant first course of roasted asparagus with an Austrian white wine.
Still, Table 15 is about enjoying good times, good food, and good wines (and martinis) with good friends. We hope you have as good a time at Table 15 as we do. Enjoy.
